" With artificial intelligence (AI), computers will surpass people in the next 100 years. When that happens, we need to make sure they have similar goals to ours, " the professor said at the association. Zeitgeist Conference 2015 in London, England, May 12.

The University of Cambridge professor identified the future of mankind as a race between the growing technological power and the understanding and judgment to use it . However, what people need to know is that we will not be able to trust ourselves. Problems from the interior can destroy us, first of all psychologically and then physically.
Hawking said that in a short period of time, mankind would be interested in who controls AI, but in the long run, what is of interest is whether the AI can be completely controlled. He believes that scientists and technology need to coordinate and exchange AI advances, to ensure that they will not grow beyond human control.
According to Business Insider, this is not the first time Hawking talks about the subject of artificial intelligence and their potential risks to people. Last December, he replied on the BBC and said that the AI could threaten humanity.
In fact, Hawking is not the only one concerned about the problem. Earlier this year, he and American billionaire Elon Musk, CEO of Space X , signed an open letter with a warning about the development of artificial intelligence. Bill Gates agreed with Elon Musk and said they would be interested in the topic.
Physicist Louis Del Monte made similar comments to Hawking. He once said: "Today, there are no legal provisions regarding the intelligence of the types of machines and their connectivity. If that continues, look at this trend at the numerical level. "We will reach a special limit within the time frame that experts predict. From then on, you will see that people will no longer lead, but instead are machines."
Meanwhile, Google co-founder Larry Page thinks that the rise of AI is not entirely a bad thing. In response to the Financial Times last year, he said that the application of machines was economically beneficial.
