Stunning images of the Milky Way when viewed through radio waves

Modern astronomy allows us to have more detailed images of the sky than ever before. The ROSAT, Fermi and Planck telescopes have shown us the universe image through different wavelengths of light.

When observing the sky, we observe with light at a normal wavelength that the human eye can see. However, in wavelengths such as radio or infrared, the human eye will not be visible and the image when viewed through these wavelengths will be very interesting.

Modern astronomy allows us to have more detailed images of the sky than ever before. The ROSAT, Fermi and Planck telescopes have shown us the universe image through different wavelengths of light.

Telescopes work together to survey the sky through different frequencies of radio waves, showing how 300,000 galaxies in the sky will be different when viewed through radio waves.

The human eye can only observe the sky through visible light and with three primary colors, red, green and blue. Telescope lenses will be observed at higher wavelengths than visible wavelengths and can observe up to 20 basic colors.

Below is a picture of the Milky Way and the surrounding sky region captured by radio waves by the wide-field Murchison Field Telescope (MWA) in a remote Australian suburb. These are the most detailed and comprehensive images.
