On January 16, in response to the official dispatch, Deputy Director of VNNIC Tran Minh Tan said that at the time this law firm applied (in 2004), the law did not permit the issuance of the domain name. "Due to changes in Internet resource use and management policies, Decision No. 27/2005 / QD-BBCVT dated August 11, 2005 allows the allocation of second-level domain names. register . Accordingly, Internet.com.vn domain name has been issued to Viet Xay Construction and Trading Company Limited on 21/9/2005, "Mr. Tan affirmed.

VNNIC explained, according to the previous regulations, it is not allowed to allocate domain name level 2.vn; at the same time prohibiting and avoiding registration of domain names related to place names, general names of economic sectors, types of goods and products, so VNNIC has kept and not received registration files of domain names of this type. under level 2 names share .com.vn or .org.vn . Along with domain names according to places like Vietnam.com.vn ; thudo.com.vn, the domain name Internet.com.vn is also among those stored domains.

According to VNNIC, before the adjustment of management policy, not only Gia Pham Law Company Limited, but also many other organizations and individuals requesting to register Internet.com.vn domain name, but not all acceptance.

However, Gia Pham Law side affirmed: " There is unfairness, non-compliance with the law on Internet resource management of Vietnam Internet Network Information Center ". For that reason, the company proposed that the administrative court of Hanoi People's Court accept the petition and cancel the decision to grant VNNIC's domain name Internet.com.vn, forcing it to receive records and domain names for them.

Talking to reporters, Director Pham Thanh Long said that at the end of January, he contacted the Hanoi People's Court of Administrative Court, which was immediately sent by post to this judicial body.

On the afternoon of February 6, Deputy Director of VNNIC Tran Minh Tan affirmed: " We have complied with the provisions of the law. The lawsuit is the right of the Law of Pham Gia ".

Explaining to the reporter that the website is not displayed when typing Internet.com.vn address, Mr. Tan said that if the granted unit does not have a need to host the website, they can use that domain to make the application. other as e-mail address.

Regarding the management of domain names of VNNIC, another person, Mr. Vu Thai Ha, sent a complaint to the agency for not announcing in writing the suspension as well as recovering two domain names that Mr. Ha owns. Lawyer Vu Thai Ha said, he was waiting for a response from VNNIC. In case the two parties cannot find a common voice, like Gia Pham Law, he will also file a lawsuit in administrative court.
