International astronomers are preparing to install the world's largest telescope, possibly
International astronomers are gearing up for the world's largest telescope, capable of "seeing" 100 times more than the Hubble space telescope. It is known that the new TMT diameter (30 meters diameter), will give people a more insight into the birth of the universe.
It is the first of a new generation of giant telescopes, located on Earth, in a project called the Great Cut Telescope (GSMT).
Due to its large size, the TMT space telescope will be contained in a space observatory measuring the size and size of a soccer field shaped like an eyeball.
