Symantec, the world's largest security software business, announced on Tuesday that it will launch Norton 360 "all in one" security product to the market.

Norton 360 is a completely new security product from Symantec and will replace the existing product package Norton Internet Security Suite.

This security product integrates almost all existing technologies from Symantec, from security technology, PC optimization technology or data backup technology . Norton 360 claims manufacturers also have features totally new.

" This is an all-in-one security product for ordinary PC users ," said Tom Powledge, Symantec's product manager. " We don't want to make a product that combines the features of older products. We want to do something new and suitable for all users ."

The world security market started to get hot with the penetration of giants in the Microsoft software field. Total market value in 2005 reached about 1.95 billion USD. So far Symantec still dominates the world security market with about 70% market share.

Norton 360 is part of Symantec's long-term strategy - Security 2.0 strategy. Symantec has set its own responsibility to restore to customers who are involved in e-commerce. Therefore, Norton 360 is equipped with electronic transaction protection features.

Norton 360 is expected to be officially sold on Symantec's website in March. Estimated selling price is 79.99 USD.
