Symantec tested 2008 security products
Symantec is looking for a team of experts to test two of its latest products: Norton Internet Security 2008 and Norton AntiVirus 2008.
Both applications are expected to be released later this year and are still in the first phase of testing to detect and fix design flaws in preparation for the final version.
One of the new features of both products is SONAR (Symantec Online Network for Advanced Response) - Symantec's online network is used to deal with new threats.
SONAR will add behavior-based protection to Symantec's applications to detect new spyware and viruses even before they are added to traditional signature-based identification files.
Symantec's new security applications will also be improved in terms of performance and network installation capabilities. Users who are interested in Symantec's new applications can look at its website.
