This bird is the national bird of Peru. The Tunki (Rupicola peruvianus) bird is a large bird-like bird that lives inside the misty forests of the Andes, the world's longest mountain range on the west coast of the South American continent.

The male Tunki has a striking orange fur.

They average about 32cm long and weigh about 265grams. Males have a striking orange fur, which is different from females with dark brown fur.

The male's cage is also larger. The bigger the bird and the brighter the color, the more advantageous it is for males to look for partners because they have to compete with many other males to gain the right to mate.
