The benefits of green plants in the house
Trees not only beautify your home but also bring many other beneficial effects. According to many scientific studies, plants help improve air quality, reduce allergy phenomenon and increase labor productivity.
Plants use carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) for photosynthesis and oxygen release (O 2 ). This activity takes place during the day. In fact, plants also "inhale" O2 like animals all day and night, but the amount of CO 2 has a greater proportion.
Most of the carbon in the plant body will be released when the tree is burnt, eaten or decomposed outside of nature. Therefore, the only way to "destroy" carbon is to maintain the life state of the tree.
Improve air quality
Many previous studies have shown that indoor air quality increases with greenery. Some argue that they increase the amount of O 2 in the home, but the reality is not quite true. Plants can also absorb toxins like carbon monoxide (CO), some volatile organic compounds and even cyanide groups and metabolize them. Plants can also absorb heavy metal molecules and keep them inside the body. Before painting the wall, you should plant some indoor plants so that they "attract" volatile organic compounds from the paint, so people will not inhale them.
Prevent allergies
Plants contribute to an increase in air humidity, because when a drop of water enters the roots, it moves up the body through the capillary system and then mixes into the air. As air humidity increases, health-damaging substances such as dust and pollen will decrease as moisture causes tiny particles to get heavier and fall down. Paradoxically, outdoor plants are one of the allergens for humans, while indoor plants help us prevent allergies.
Increase labor productivity
The presence of trees in the working environment is also the research topic of many scientists. People are the most valuable asset of every business and organization. Therefore, if a measure is found for employees to feel excited to work, labor productivity will increase and the company will have a comparative advantage. Many studies in the US prove that indoor plants not only increase labor productivity but also help reduce headaches, fatigue and stress in the work environment.
