Lawers, Scotland

The Lawers village was sold with a warning: the haunted village is cursed. According to the stories, a fortuneteller living in the 17th century gave a curse to an ash tree in the village. After death, the fortune teller was buried next to the ash tree.

In 1895, a farmer cut down the ash tree. Not long after, the man was hit by a bull that led to many injuries and deaths. A neighbor tried to save the bull-headed man but later went crazy. The horse used to pull and cut the ash tree also died for no reason.

Some people said they saw the ghost of a woman in the area and believed it was the soul of a fortune-teller who let out a harsh curse in the past.

Oradour-sur-Glane, France

On June 10, 1944, the village of Oradour-sur-Glane was attacked by Nazi Germany. All men were arrested, shot at their feet and brought to the pyre.
