On July 1, the hospital launched a stem cell donation program at Tzu Chi Center (Taiwan, China). Nearly half a month later, Tzu Chi Center announced that it was found that a person who agreed to donate stem cells with HLA fits perfectly with the patient.

On September 20, the hospital performed the first hematopoietic stem cell transplant from blood-free peripheral blood in Vietnam for patients A.
