The Siberian Times said scientists had planned to bring back the mummy to the Altai Mountains in Russia and build a private mausoleum. Construction is expected to begin next year, on a 2500-meter high prairie in the Ukok plain.

The princess mummy with mysterious tattoos was discovered by archaeologist Natalia Polosmak in 1993. This is considered one of the most important archaeological findings of the 20th century.

The princess is said to have died at the age of 25 due to breast cancer and her mummy was found in permafrost. The bodies of two other men were also discovered nearby.
