The mysterious couple died in an ancient stone age

Two skeletons of an 8,000-year-old couple have been discovered in a well dating from the Stone Age, in Israel, which also contains many mysteries that make archaeologists here very confused.

The analysis of two remains includes a young woman of about 20 years old and 1 of the 30-40 year old man, all in the same old well 8 meters deep, 1.3 meters wide, in the Jezreel Valley , Israel.

After discovering 2 skeletons so far, scientists have not been able to unify the cause of the couple's death. Archaeologists believe that both may accidentally fall into a well or be killed and then thrown into a well.

However, these are only conjectures. According to Yotam Teper, director of Israeli archaeological excavations, archaeologists are still investigating what happened to the couple who died in the well. It is expected to determine the reason that scientists will conduct autopsies and analyze surrounding objects.

It is known that, along with two skeleton couples, archaeologists also found many other artifacts of the Neolithic period such as scythes, arrows and other stone tools. There are also small farms around this well. This ancient well, which was later abandoned, could always be contaminated.
