Archaeologists have uncovered a mural on a 14-meter-long, two-meter-long ancient tomb wall in To Tien District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, China, and Sina on January 10.

The 1,400-year-old painting depicts two maids with soft, clear strokes. They have the same clothes, including long skirts, gowns and open collars to reveal the shoulders.

"Based on the artifacts buried together, we believe that the tomb was built during the period of North and North Dynasty (year 420-589) in China", La Thang Cuong, archaeologist working at the Committee of Wrestling City of Sam Chau, said.

According to La, this is the oldest mural found in Hunan Province. The details on the picture will provide information, helping to improve the history of Chinese clothing development.
