The reason for the worsening winter is despite the global warming climate

President Trump said the winter snowfall record in the US shows that the global climate does not warm up is not a scientific basis.

The US East Coast is experiencing a severe winter with many areas buried under lots of snow and a record low temperature. Dec. 28 announced that the country was about to meet the new year with an unprecedented low temperature, which proved to be untrue.

"Perhaps we should use a bit of Global Warming that the US, not other countries, has spent trillions of dollars to fight back," Trump wrote on Twitter.

Many people in the United States also believe that this year's winter is particularly cold in some areas of the world showing that warnings about global warming by scientists are meaningless. However, experts believe that this way of thinking has no basis, according to Scientific American.

NASA statistics show that global warming is real and proven by scientific data. The 10 warmest years in history are all in the post-1997 period. Recent decades have been the warmest period since 1000, according to the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In addition, the warming situation from the late 19th century is something that has never been seen for 1,000 years.

"It is impossible to deduce many things about the climate or the direction of development when relying only on a very cold day, a season, even a year , " said Eoin O'Carroll, a Christian Science Monitor expert. "It's all about the long-term trend , " said Dr Gavin Schmidt, a climatologist at NASA's Goddard Institute.

Most scientists think that there should be a clear distinction between climate and weather. NOAA defines climate as the average weather over a period of at least 30 years. Therefore, temporary cyclical fluctuations do not mean that global warming is inaccurate.

Global warming may even make winter more severe. In the winter of 2006, high temperatures prevented Lake Erie in North America for the first time in history from freezing. This results in an increase in snowfall because water evaporates from the lake more, enabling snow formation.

Although some extreme weather events, such as super typhoons or droughts may be the effects of climate change, most scientists think that weather changes over a year cannot be attributed directly to whether the climate is cold or warm.

Even many people doubt the warming of the Earth phenomenon also agrees that a sudden cold spell or super typhoon is not related to the accuracy of the climate change issue.

People are contributing to global warming when using fossil fuels. Before moving to green energy sources, serious global warming will continue, regardless of whether the weather is temporarily warming or getting cold.
