Every 4 years, around the end of October, in Bristol Bay (Alaska) welcomes a spectacular migration with 32 million red salmon (scientific name: Oncorhynchus nerka). The schools of salmon moving create a wonderful scene that attracts many tourists to see.

Like many salmon species, they will return to their birthplace (returning distance is up to 1,600km) to lay eggs as well as end their life cycle (due to exhaustion after a long journey of not eating). completing this noble task.
