The two-headed calf was born in Morocco

A two-headed calf was born in a village of Morocco on December 30, probably due to a rare head syndrome rarely seen in animals.

According to the International Business Times, the two-headed calf was born on December 30 in the northern village of Sefrou. This is one of the cases where animals can be affected by a two or three-headed syndrome, also known as polycephaly, which has been discovered for many years.

After birth, the calf was named Sanna Saida , meaning Happy New Year in Arabic, to mark its special birth.

Before the calf was born, everyone hoped that the cow would give birth to two calves at the same time. However, according to a veterinarian, they did not separate in the development process but stick to one. Although the two heads are abnormal, the Sanna Saida calf can still be eaten with both mouths.

Previously, a calf that had two heads had been discovered in Georgia in 2011 and was also eaten by two heads normally.

Animal cases are born with many parts that have been discovered over the years. A farmer in New Zealand said the calf had 8 legs, 4 ears, two bodies and one head was born at his farm last year. Researchers have found cases of two-headed shark sharks, double-headed turtles or double-sided cats.
