Jared Barnes said the first time he was riding on this road 7 years ago. Although it must be hard to face the bends, he thinks that this road is no different from an addictive substance. Jared was excited to the extreme and felt excited, excited to ride on this road.
Today, The Dragon gradually becomes a route for those who love to ride motorbike adventure, want to try a strong feeling. It also unknowingly becomes a race for speed enthusiasts and locals.
There is a motel and grocery store, a "memorial" is a tree. People hung on the trunk of broken helmets or broken motorcycle parts.

To conquer this short road is not easy for many visitors. Someone had to stay here for a week to practice driving and complete the trip through bends without crashing any time.
"It can be said that this place is no different from Disneyland for driving enthusiasts," said Brad Talbott, a retired hunter. Currently, Brad opens an inn with 14 rooms to serve tourists here.
If you wish, visitors can also buy snapshots when they are driving on this road. All were taken and shot by photographer Dave Allison.

"I have the best job in the world. Every morning, I watch the eagles nest, catch the sunrise through the white oak and the vases, watch the mist on the lake and the black bears. Allison said about her daily work, besides capturing the riders on the way to conquer The Dragon.
Although it is a stimulating destination, The Dragon cannot avoid the dark side it brings. On every 10-15 days, Allison said he saw the accident again. Mostly, motorbike drivers lose control with sharp and difficult bends. From 2002 to 2015, Tennessee recorded nearly 1,700 cases of accidents on The Dragon, 37 of them died. In 2016, there were about 103 fallen drivers, 3 killed.
