Previously, ICANN has been sending a letter to RegisterFly to inform this service provider of the deadline to terminate its operation (31st -3-2007) and the time for RegisterFly to process is 15 days in accordance with RAA regulations. ICANN also requires RegisterFly to remove its logo from the website but until yesterday (March 26), the operation of the RegisterFly website is still normal and the ICANN logo has not been removed as required.

The main reason for this is that the provision of domain name registration and management from RegisterFly did not go in the direction that ICANN accepted (refer to ICANN letter to RegisterFly).

From the moment of the announcement to March 31, RegisterFly is required to unlock and provide all the necessary identification information codes to allow domains to be transferred to other providers.

Another domain name registration service provider that has been asked to help is GoDaddy. GoDaddy says it is ready to support domain name transfer from RegisterFly and create a new, fast service to help with this problem.

Thousands of Vietnamese domain names and websites registered at RegisterFly may be stalled for this. Therefore, the urgent task is to quickly convert the domain name to other ICANN-certified service providers like GoDaddy.
