After nearly a century of research and investigation, archaeologists have decoded 6 mysteries about Tutankhamun, the king famous for the curse of 'Egyptian mummies'.

In 1922, archaeologist Howard Carter found the tomb of King Tutankhamun while conducting excavations in the 'Valley of the Kings'. At 2:00 pm on February 17, 1923, Howard and his team began to explore the inside of the tomb. After a lot of investigation, scientists have found a solution to the secrets of the pharaoh's legend.

Curse of 'Egyptian mummies'

Legend has it that on the day Carter broke the lid of Tutankhamun's coffin, a cobra ate his pet canary.

There are many events that have raised concerns about the curse of the 'Egyptian mummy'.

Besides, Lord Carnarvon - who financed the excavation of the tomb also died only 6 weeks after the tomb was opened. These events raised concerns about the 'Egyptian mummy' curse.
