This study found that people who are sedentary will have to spend a lot of time dealing with everyday tasks like driving, calculating, shopping, cooking, which are becoming more and more burdensome. for older people, while those who are hard-working can solve those tasks much easier.

Scientists conducted research on 2,800 volunteers aged between 65 and 96 in six US cities between 1998 and 2004.

After 5 years, the volunteers said that thanks to their training, they still maintained their lucidity in problem solving and information update skills. They also have less difficulty than other pensioners who don't train their minds in dealing with everyday tasks such as doing mental maths or finding phone numbers in contacts.
