TV controlled by eyes

At the Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) 2012, Haier brought two new products, including a transparent OLED display and an eye-controlled television model.

Since 2011, people have invented thought-driven electronic devices. However, it seems that this idea is still quite far away from reality, although it is rated at a high level of creativity. Recently, Haier introduced a new way to control the device - with eyes.

Anyway, Haier's invention is still appreciated for its feasibility. At IFA, Haier introduced an eye -controlled television set named Eye-Control TV .

To use this TV, you need to sit in front of a sensor, rectangular, black, placed at a height equal to the chest level. Every time you change the user, you need to adjust the device, look around the sensor for a round and blink the device so that it can distinguish physiological blinking and blinking for control.

You can use the eyes to control the TV with some basic features, such as changing channels, adjusting volume .

To change the volume, you need to look down. Then, a control panel will display, by looking at it and glancing left or right to increase or decrease at will.

At this control panel, users can also choose the Mute mute button. Meanwhile, if you want to change the channel, users need to look at the left, top of the screen and blink. Then, an interface will show up with large images, representing different TV channels.

You just need to look at an icon and blink, the system will select that channel. In addition, the system is also used to show still images.

However, Eye-Control TV still appears quite a lot of errors, running incorrectly exactly matching the command from the user's eyes.

Haier said that the TV model is still being finalized and unknown to commercial production.
