Long neck turtles like snakes, giant crabs that live on trees, horny snakes throughout the body or deer 'vampires' are real animals but will make many people mistakenly think of as a product of graphic technology.

Smooth long neck turtle

The long-necked turtle is actually one of the most exotic animals in the world, with its neck hanging like a snake. The neck of this turtle is so long that it can be tall or crawl away in front of the body. However, the oversized size makes it impossible to draw its head in tomorrow and is vulnerable to enemy attacks.

Although it is impossible to defend itself in the traditional way of turtle relatives, long neck turtles can secrete a liquid that smells horrible when threatened. Like skunks, this scent will make enemies of ancient turtles darken their faces and unable to access them.

Dumbo octopus

Living at a depth of 7,000m below sea level, Dumbo octopus is the deepest water animal ever discovered. It is the environmental conditions that are completely lacking in light together with the extreme pressure of water that causes this octopus to change its shape in a strange way.

Snake scales horn Bush Viper

Strange snake Bush Viper is found in Takamanda reserve, Republic of Cameroon. Not only possessing strange scales, this snake also has the ability to change body color to mix with the surrounding environment to avoid enemies or deceive prey. This snake usually does not attack large humans and animals but the amount of venom secreted after each bite can be fatal for an adult.

Giant coconut crab lives on trees

Possessing a bunker and ferocious body, the coconut crab is a gentle and shy animal. The giant body helps coconut crabs to be considered the largest terrestrial vertebrate species in the world with a total body weight of up to 4.1kg. If fully developed, coconut crabs can have a body length of up to 1m.

Oarfish fish

Oarfish fish, also known as Ribbon fish, is one of the largest fish in the ocean. A mature Oarfish fish can grow up to 15.2m. Many cultures believe that Oarfish is a mythical sea snake. This animal is also extremely rare and difficult to catch because they live at a depth of 9,000m on the seabed.

Nai 'vampire'

Nai ' vampire' is a small deer, the size of a deer. However, this deer is amazing but possesses a prominent pair of ivory. The fangs of this animal grow up to tens of centimeters and stick out. Although frightening but in fact, the 'vampire' deer is a gentle herbivore, with only one case of human bites recorded.
