The good news for women: Gardasil's vaccine for cervical cancer gives nearly 100% effectiveness in fighting the two types of HPV that cause cervical cancer and fight the disease for at least 3 years.

According to the British press, researchers at dozens of international health centers have evaluated the effectiveness of this vaccine, marketed under the name Gardasil, over 4 types of HPV virus in more than 12,000 women from 15-26 years old in 13 countries for nearly 3 years.

They concluded that vaccines are effective against HPV types 16 and 18, which cause about 70% of cervical cancers. In the world, 1 woman every 2 minutes dies from cervical cancer. In Vietnam, this is also the most common disease in all types of cancer.
