Video: Rescue the lumpy humpback whale
A humpback whale is rescued from the siege of a large net, after being trapped off Australia.
Telegraph quoted officials in Noosa Heads, Queensland, saying the giant fish may have been caught in the net at night. It still breathes when rescuers approach. They tried to cut the net so that the male humpback whale escaped and swam away.
From June to October, humpback whales from Antarctica migrate north to reach warmer waters off Australia's coast.
