Vietnam has successfully cultivated nCoV virus

The National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology announced on February 7 that it has successfully cultured and isolated new corona virus in the laboratory.

A representative of the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology said that this successful culture would enable rapid testing of nCoV infections and suspected cases. As a result, Vietnam is capable of testing thousands of specimens every day in case of need.

Vietnam has more than 1,000 people returning from China, nearly 500 close contacts of people infected with nCoV are isolated, monitored, monitored and awaited test results.

The successful culture of nCoV is a precondition for the research and development of this vaccine against the virus in the future, which will also lead to more effective preventive measures.

The Ministry of Health said that Vietnam still ensures to provide enough biological products for testing.

Scientists in Australia, Singapore and Japan on February 5 also announced the cultivation of a new strain of corona virus to study vaccines and treatment regimens.

At a hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, doctors used a combination of the Oseltamivir flu and anti-HIV drugs Lopinavir and Ritonavir in 3 patients with coronary pneumonia. All three have obvious signs of recovery.

The first patient positive for nCoV in the United States was discharged on 3 February after successful treatment with Remdesivir . Since this success, US health officials on 6/2 allowed testing of Remdesivir in the treatment of coronary pneumonia.

The team in three countries, Singapore, Australia and Japan, is working to replicate the new strain of corona virus outside of China for research. This promises to be a significant project in the preparation of vaccines, drug testing and shortening of diagnosis time.

The scientists used the virus has been isolated, cultured with samples of positive people to find a way to diagnose, track signs of variation and prepare drugs, vaccines. For testing, the researchers injected the animals with vaccines, creating antibodies that then infected them. If these antibodies defeat the pathogen, the vaccine is judged effective.
