According to Mr. Long's experience, astronomers can observe the entire lunar eclipse with their eyes, but looking through binoculars or telescopes will be more interesting. Viewers need to select areas that are spacious and free from obstructed buildings, where there is fresh air and avoid light.
In 2014, astronomers in Vietnam observed the same phenomenon on October 8. The next real moon in Vietnam will take place on August 8, 2017 . The total eclipse appears one year later, on January 31 , 2018.
