Nha Trang Observatory (Khanh Hoa) will be inaugurated in August, instead of March as originally planned.

"Arches and telescopes have been completed since March, but due to the completion of fire protection issues, so far, only Italian experts have finalized the equipment and will hand over to the Center next week" , Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of Vietnam Satellite Center (VNSC) talked about the reason for the delay of inauguration.

Vietnam's first astronomical observatory was located in Hon Chong (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa), consisting of a telescope with a diameter of 0.5m and a 9m arch house, accommodating 60 people.

With telescopes, viewers can see more clearly the constellations and interesting phenomena such as meteor, eclipse and eclipse. The domed house is a place where visitors enjoy films about the universe, the planet, and the history of the earth.
