At Kourou, producer Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems will coordinate service provider Arianespace (France) to test and test the satellite for 4-5 weeks before launching.

It is expected that VINASAT-1 satellite will launch into orbit with Ariane 5 missile (France) at 5 am on April 12 (Vietnam time), one day slower than previously expected. According to Director Hoang Minh Thong, delaying the launch completely due to objective reasons, because the plan to launch other satellites at the same location of launching Kourou (before the launch of VINASAT 1) was delayed by one day.

The deletion of this VINASAT-1 satellite launch point does not affect the progress of putting satellites into orbit positions registered with the World Telecommunication Union (ITU).

VINASAT - 1 satellite is the first telecommunications satellite of Vietnam invested by Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), built by the world's leading satellite manufacturer Lockheed Martin Corporation (US ) and will launch into orbit with Ariane 5 missile (France).
