According to the "National key science and technology research program to develop pharmaco-chemical industry till 2020" , in the first 5 years, the total state budget investment capital for the program is estimated at VND 500 billion, in VND 300 billion to carry out the following tasks: basic research, applied research, research and development (RD), supporting product trial production at pilot scale (project P), human resource training .

The rest is invested in depth to renovate, upgrade, modernize and build new specialized pharmaco-chemical laboratories.
