"The ash cloud moves east from the volcano," the statement said, adding that it does not pose a danger to residential areas around volcanoes.
However, the local Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations also warned airlines that fly near volcanoes due to its ash could damage aircraft engines.
RIA Novosti said the strongest eruption of Klyuchevskoi volcano occurred from January to May 2005. After the eruption, Klyuchevskoi was sunk to 50 meters, from a height of 4,800 meters to 4,750 meters today.
It is known that Kamchatka Peninsula has more than 150 volcanoes, of which 30 are active.
