Warning of the risk of poisoning from giant flowers

Great flowers (also called porcelain flowers) are grown quite popular in Vietnam. Scientists recommend that this plant's plastic is quite toxic, can cause skin congestion, and even poisoning.

The great flower with the scientific name is Plumeria rubra acutifolia (Poir.) Bailey, belonging to the apocotaceae (Apocynaceae). This is a small woody species that can achieve a natural height of 8 to 12m. The flower of the plant is white on the outside, inside light yellow or red, fragrant.

In Vietnam, great flowers are grown as ornamental, shade shade, popular in family members, pagoda temples, school grounds. In traditional medicine, people also use flowers and excellent medicine to treat cardiovascular disease and blood pressure.

According to the recommendation on the Allthingsfrangipani site, in the big flower tree and its "cousin" , the peach tree contains poison. Do not trim any parts of the plant, including flowers and leaves. Particularly children should limit exposure, because the large plastic flowers stick to the hand are at risk of skin congestion, harmful to humans and animals.

In some cases, taking drugs made from great flowers in high doses can cause poisoning for humans.
