The 3D machine is made of plastic, wood and metal - materials that are used extensively to create a variety of objects, from jewelry, shoes, to human bones.

TS. Hao says the 3D chocolate printer also works as a 3D printer, starting with a cross-sectional image - like objects printed by conventional machines - then printed in layers. Chocolate to create 3D shapes without molding.

'We have improved and simplified the machine to make it easy to use. You just need to heat the chocolate and pour into the machine to make the product as you want, " said Dr. Hao.

Researchers around the world are also working to develop food printers. In 2011, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) developed a similar model, called the Digital Chocolatier.
