Greg Ross, a 41-year-old volunteer lifeguard, was standing on the side of the boat when the white shark rushed to attack, biting hard on the paddle beside the boat.

Greg Ross also said that broken teeth will quickly grow. Georgia, 12, Ross's daughter retained two of the shark's teeth as a souvenir.
