A Silicon Valley startup, the United States is developing a self-driving flying car with an ambition to help everyone experience the pilot's work.

The car is called BlackFly, powered by electricity, with only one seat inside. BlackFly uses the most advanced engines but has super light weight, thus consuming less energy with traditional electric cars.

The aircraft weighs about 141kg, the structure has 8 propulsion systems, distributed along 2 wings to help them take off and land great. The aircraft is equipped with a parachute system in case of an emergency.

The idea of ​​designing this unique flying car originated 9 years ago, now has completed a first model that can move in a distance of 40km with a speed of 62km / h.

When the power is out, the driver can charge BlackFly for at least 25 minutes to work again.

Flight has been tested more than 1,000 flights with over 16,000km in the air. The startup claims that users do not need a pilot's workmanship license to be able to use them in a number of countries such as the US and Canada.

"However, the driver will have to be instructed on the model for at least 5 minutes to be able to fly by himself , " the company representative said.

Company executives hope BlackFly will be available in the market next year.

"Unlike other flying models, we will produce BlackFly at an affordable price and make it accessible to anyone," he said.
