"It took me 15 years to seek treatment for my child," Hussaini, Haruna's father choked. According to Barcroft, the 19-year-old girl was born completely healthy but then stopped growing mysteriously. "Everything started at the age of 6 months," remembers Haruna's mother, Fadi. "I have a fever and stomach pain. The pain spreads to my arms and legs. I can't even scream."

Currently, Haruna's entire body is almost unable to move. I was put in a plastic basin for transportation. The family helps Haruna eat, bathe, even talk to neighbors."I bathed her and took her out every day," said Haruna's 10-year-old brother Fahad. "I am very happy when we visit relatives".

Haruna's parents had consumed the fortune to rely on experts and doctors, but the situation of young women did not improve."I almost sold everything," Hussaini said. "God knows how much money I've spent." Poor financial conditions forced Haruna to go begging. Thanks to photographer Sani Maikatanga, the online community knows the circumstances of a 19-year-old girl. Many benefactors actively contacted their families and for the first time in his life, Haruna received a wheelchair.
