Why do people kiss each other, blush and even pick their nose? Those are the mysteries of human life that scientists still cannot find answers to.

Why do people kiss each other, blush and even pick their nose? Those are the mysteries of human life that scientists still cannot find answers to.

New Scientist magazine has compiled a list of 10 simple behaviors that take place daily in our lives but still makes the world's leading brains think hard. Here are some explanatory hypotheses for these actions.

1. Blushing: Charles Darwin tried hard to find out why people blushed when lying and he thought that action was to warn others. But some argue that this behavior helps to reduce the feeling of confrontation or create closeness by revealing the weakness of the blushing person.

2. Laugh: endorphin chemical

Improve the mood that is released every time we laugh - this is seen as an easy reason. But a 10-year study found people laughing a lot before tasteless comments, rather than jokes.

3. Kissing: the source of kissing may not originate from the gene because not all people do this. There are hypotheses related to memory from breastfeeding or stemming from the fact that the ancient people fed their babies by lips, thereby exchanging saliva and increasing pleasure.

4. Dream: Sigmund Freud thinks that the dream represents the desire in our subconscious but this explanation is not supported by many people. Some people believe that dreams help us handle emotions, but why someone sees strange images is still unanswered.

5. Superstition: This strange habit does not have any evolutionary meaning, however, it is possible that the ancients have benefited from this habit, thereby not confusing the rustle of a lion in the dust. bushy with the sound of the wind blowing.

6. Nasal scars: This unappealing habit does not bring any nutritional benefits. But why do 1/4 of teens do this on average 4 times a day? Some say it helps boost the immune system.

7. Wake up: Other animals have not gone through this period of instability and psychological disturbance. Some argue that it helps our brains awaken before fully maturing, or it does a process of behavioral testing before people know how to take responsibility for themselves later.

8. Altruistic: Giving everything without response is an evolutionary behavior that is difficult to understand. It can help strengthen bonding or only bring satisfaction.

9. Enjoy the art: Drawing, dancing, playing music . can be equivalent to displaying the peacock's tail to attract mates. However, it can also be a tool to spread knowledge and exchange experiences.

10. Hair growth: sparse on the body but dense in the enclosed area - this is completely opposite to other primates. Some reasons include tight hairs that help scent scent, keep warm or avoid rubbing.
