>>>A series of dolphins die abnormally in America
On average, on the northern coast of the Gulf of Mexico, 74 dolphins run aground, especially during the spring breeding period. However, from mid-February 2010 to April this year, there were 714 dolphins and whales drifting to the coast, adjacent to the states of Louisiana and Texas, USA.
Discovery said the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced that 95% of them had died. But according to the agency, more than 700 dolphins drifted ashore just a fraction of the actual.
NOOA is investigating the cause of the tragedy for dolphins.
Last year, NOAA tested 32 dolphins living in Barataria Bay - a region heavily affected by BP's Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
The scientists found that the fish were anemic, weight reduced, low blood sugar, some symptoms of liver and lung disease. Almost half have metabolic and immune processes. These are all symptoms when exposed to oil.
