The newly discovered Bronze ware is the largest in London and the third largest in the UK so far, Fox News today reported. "The impressive finding helps us understand a lot more about Bronze life , " said Duncan Wilson, head of Historic England.
These items existed from about 900 - 800 BC. Most weapons are broken or partially damaged. It is worth noting that they are buried at 4 points in a large enclosed moat. Meanwhile, most of such items are often isolated.

Experts are investigating why they were buried carefully into clusters near each other. The arrangement of items shows that a metal worker might have worked at this place. The number of bronze is likely due to the fact that this is a storehouse of materials similar to a cellar, recycling warehouse or exchange center. The ancients may have arranged them to be sacrificed to religion, hope to recycle, prevent others from gaining access, or simply eliminate copper tools that gradually became obsolete when iron making techniques appeared. .
The above items will be on display at the London Docklands Museum in April 2020. This is just one of the remarkable archaeological finds in London recently. This month, scientists found the remains of a 500-year-old woman and child at the ancient Tower of London, north of the River Thames.
