The mausoleum consists of three main tombs, 11 sub-tombs, a horse carriage area and weapons, and the rest of a large city wall surrounded. According to Nanjing Museum researchers, the wall has an initial height of about 490m.

The tomb is covered under a large mound, stretching about 150m. This area contains two long axes that lead to the burial place, 35m long, 26m wide, and contains many items for the king to the afterlife. The burial place is divided into many corridors and small rooms. Each room contains many weapons such as iron swords, sharp spears, crossbows, knives . and more than 20 model carriages. An area identified as a king's kitchen in the tomb area, with many items such as bronze cauldron, tripods, boilers, cups, teapots, shells, animal bones and tree seeds.
In the excavation area, archaeologists simultaneously discovered about 10,000 artifacts, including many valuable items such as gold, silver, copper, jade, lacquerware, musical instruments, lamps with many pictures. different forms. Archaeological group thinks that the tomb was stolen before, but there are still many precious artifacts, including 100,000 Banliang coins, featuring a large square hole in the middle.
Live Science quoted the expert team as saying that finding valuable objects shows that this is consistent with the king's lavish lifestyle according to history books. Liu Fei died in 128 BC, during the 26th year of Jiangdu's reign.
The discovery of the tomb area is expected to provide important research information about this historical period of China.
