Animals have up to 25,000 teeth in their mouths
If you had to pay for a dental checkup, this species would have to go bankrupt with tens of thousands of teeth in your mouth.
Usually, when it comes to teeth, we will think of the hard appendages located in the mouth of humans and animals, used to crush and tear food.

Depending on the biological properties of each species, the teeth have different shapes, structures and quantities. Some animals have only a few dozen, but others have tens of thousands of teeth in their tiny mouth.
Snails are shellfish, mollusks live both on land and in the sea. They are omnivores. The main food is leaves, small insects and organic humus. Surprisingly, the slow, non-snail-like animal has a huge number of teeth: between 14,000-25,000 teeth depending on the species.

The snail's teeth are not really "teeth", and are literally hard and shaped like human teeth and many other animals, which are soft spines. These spines are arranged in long strips inside a cavity called radula and act like a circular saw.
When eating, the snail crawls upward, sticks the radula out, "raises" the food, and swings it inside. The teeth (thorns) then tear and crush the food before swallowing it inside.
Thousands of teeth are lined up, about 100 each. When a tooth is worn out, the back teeth will be pushed forward for 4 to 6 weeks.
Of all the snails, limpets - a small size of sea snail that is considered to have teeth from protein and mineral nanofibers called goethite . Scientists rate them even more powerful than spider silk, potentially becoming the most durable biological material on Earth.
Besides, snails have eyes but don't really have eyesight. They do not observe and orient the environment by looking but tactile.
Snails can sense the smell of food a few meters away and navigate strangely to that place at night and return to the shelter when the sun is about to rise.
Snails are hermaphroditic species. They lay eggs and can fertilize the eggs themselves. Scientists think that slow movement is a factor that makes snails evolve fertility in this direction. When encountering another snail, they can become males or females to match the opponent during mating.
