Attractive women find work easier

People with charismatic looks, especially women, will be more likely to get a job than those less attractive.

Researchers have sent more than 1,000 fake files to 1,500 employers. Skills and qualifications remain the same, only changing the names, gender, and photos of the candidates.

After sending 1,000 records, the average call response rate for each fake profile is 30%. However, women with attractive faces receive 54% of phone calls, and 47% of men.

Most notably, women with less-than-good looks only receive 7% of calls from employers.

From this study, scientists concluded that finding a job is like attending a beauty contest. Success rates for those with charismatic looks are often higher . Therefore, in addition to being dedicated to learning, less attractive women are also advised to pay more attention to the aesthetic field.
