China is about to build a space station

China will launch the first division into space to start building its own space station later this year, according to Xinhua.

The module, called Tiangong-1 (Thien Cung 1), will be launched into space using the Long-March II-F rocket (Chinh Chinh II-F), which has been successful in all seven launches. previous Shenzhou universe.

According to head of ship design division Shenzhou, Qi Faren, Long-March II-F has been developed since 1992 and has high reliability. It will ensure the success of this space mission.

Earlier, China failed in a satellite launch on August 18 due to missile problems. However, officials said the rocket launched on August 18 was the Long March II-C missile, which was not as reliable as the Long-March II-F.

Tiangong-1 with a length of 8.5m will be the first component for the country's most populous ambition to build the space station. After Tiangong-1 left the launch pad for about 2 months, China would send the unmanned Shenzhou 8 spacecraft into space and make connections with Tiangong-1 in orbit.

According to Xinhua , both Tiangong-1 and Long-March II-F have both been transferred to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province (China) in preparation for this mission.

According to AFP , China is not included in the $ 100 billion construction program of the International Space Station (ISS) of five space agencies around the world, the US Agency for Aeronautics and Space (NASA), the Agency. Russian Federation Universe (Roscosmos), Japan Space Exploration Agency (JAXA), Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and European Space Agency (ESA).

Therefore, the country is determined to build its own space station to affirm its boom in space science.

Previously, this Asian country has continuously achieved historic milestones in the exploration of the universe. In 2003, China enrolled in the list of countries capable of taking people into space (along with Russia and the US) with the Shenzhou 5 ship with an astronaut.

Two years later, China raised the number of astronauts on the Shenzhou 6 ship to two. The year 2008 marked a great step forward for the Chinese space technology industry by launching the Shenzhou 7 ship with three astronauts.

During this flight, China became one of the three countries (along with the US and Russia) capable of bringing people into space and carrying out aerial walks.

In addition, in two years 2007 and 2010, China also twice launched Chang'e probe (Hang Nga) to orbit the Moon to prepare for the ship landing on Ms. Hang's surface in 2013 and beyond. is bringing people to set foot on the Earth's natural satellite in 2017.
