China's Thien Cung-1 (Tiangong-1) space station weighs 8.5 tons and may fall to Europe in the next few months as warned by experts.

China yesterday successfully launched its first test module just before the country's national anniversary, in preparation for the construction of the space station.

On September 20, China said it will launch the Tiangong-1 space module by the end of September, starting the construction of its own space station, according to AFP.

China will launch the first division into space to start building its own space station later this year, according to Xinhua.
