Convenient deep pump in all terrain

The Institute of Water Resources Research has successfully tested a pump that can suck water from three times the depth of conventional pumps. The deep pump came out to overcome the terrain disadvantages of conventional pumps. The success of this topic has opened up hope for many arid regions, especially in mountainous areas with high slopes.

Picture 1 of Convenient deep pump in all terrain For an agricultural country like ours, the use of many centrifugal pumps located along rivers and lakes supplying water for production is very necessary. However, our pumps have so far only attracted water from a height of less than 3m. In contrast, the water level has a high fluctuation in the seasons, water rising about 6-7m is common, there are places up to 10-15m. If it is left in place, the pump will be flooded, resulting in failure, or if it is moved to a higher position, it is very difficult. There are dry places that need to suck water up to a height of more than 5m or pump away hundreds of meters, the pump is " bundled ".

Stemming from the needs of the agricultural sector, the Institute of Water Resources Research has created and built a deep pump to overcome the disadvantages of conventional pumps. Dr. Tran Van Cong was assigned to chair this topic.

The deep suction pump is of theoretical origin and is similar to a conventional centrifugal pump but has the ability to generate permissible vacuum in the pump chamber . According to Dr. Public, deep pumps can absorb water up to a height of 8m (nearly 3 times higher than conventional pumps) and thanks to the ability to suck deeply, the pump is not suspended and drought resistant in the dry season.

Dr. Cong said: " Using deep suction pump will reduce the cost of digging soil to lower the plant floor on the river side, especially where the river is rocky. Normally, the cost of digging soil is much lower. compared to money to buy pumps ". Deep suction pump with short shaft easy to assemble, easy to use and repair. The upper propeller is not jammed by the siltation. Tests over the past few months show that water flow and performance of deep-suction pumps are larger than conventional pumps of the same capacity.

Currently, the Institute of Water Resources Research has manufactured many deep-suction pumps such as HS 350-75 pumps with water flow of 850-1300m3 / h, HS 300-45 with water flow of 800-1000m3 / h, HS 250-33 with water flow of 450-800m3 / h .

In particular, the Institute's deep pumps can pump hundreds of meters away with a gentle slope. This type of pump can be used to pump water for shrimp ponds on the sand in the Central is very convenient. Dr. Cong said: " From the shrimp farm to the coast is very far (about 150-200m) and has a gentle slope, the other machines cannot pump water from the sea but my machine meets this. In the absence of electricity in central shrimp farms, other pumps cannot run, my machine can run on oil . "

The underwater parts of the deep pump are made of stainless steel, which can overcome the erosion of saltwater. The price is cheaper, only 1/3 of the imported submersible pump (foreign machine 500 million, while the deep pump costs 200 million). Currently, Dr. Cong and his colleagues are embarking on producing pumps according to orders from the Ministry of Trade to serve the demand of raising shrimp on the sand in the central region.
