Scientists have discovered a huge difference between the penis of an alligator and the 'little boy' of most other animals.

The reptile's penis is made of fibrous, tough, continuous tissue in a state of extreme "flaring" inside their reproductive tract and pushed out of the body during mating.

This means that the male crocodile's reproductive organs do not change shape or size when desiring and do not require the pumping of 'little boy' at briefing.

According to research published in Anatomical Record, when mating, the male crocodile releases 'little boy' from the body and retrieves it at the same speed.

'This phenomenon is really interesting and strange, very different from anything we've seen in vertebrates , ' said Dr. Diane Kelly, an anatomy specialist from the University of Massachusetts ( USA) and the author of the study, commented.

Kelly said, by the beginning of the 20th century, scientists had a description of the crocodile's penis but admitted to not knowing its mechanism of action.

Ms. Kelly studied many individual crocodiles and through thorough surgery discovered a white 'little boy' , about 7cm long hidden inside the reproductive tract and excreted holes of male crocodiles. The researcher also found that, due to the filling of collagen, the crocodile's 'little boy' became too hard for pre-mating hype.

'Large amount of collagen in the city center and crocodile penis solidifies the whole structure. Therefore, it can easily turn out to mate and quickly withdraw back to after the lovemaking is complete , 'Kelly added.

The crocodile's 'little boy' bounced off the client's body with a certain muscle group and retreated to its original place when the animal relaxed its muscles with the help of 'rubber' tendons on the penis base.
