Biologists have just discovered the body of a polar bear dying in a "skeletal skin" that drifted into the Svalbard area, the Arctic Ocean.

This is an extremely strange phenomenon and is an endangered signal of this species.

Experts say that climate change has caused the Arctic ice to drop a record, destroying the ecological environment and threatening this polar bear food source. They are forced to travel far from the living area to find food to eat.
After examining the bear's body, scientists found that the body was completely fat-free, only skin and bones remained. Finally, they came to a final conclusion about the cause of its death, starvation and exhaustion in the process of finding food.

The only source of polar bears is seals. In 2012, the Arctic ice level dropped to the lowest level, the number of seals also decreased and moved to the area of ice to live. Therefore, polar bears have to travel about 150km further from their regular habitat to find food.
This is also the first time biologists have found the bear's corpse in a state of "skin and bones" and are located far from its living area. Most notably, in April this year, scientists examined the bear, which still appears healthy.
