Device for processing household scale fluorine
Binh Dinh Preventive Medicine Center has just ordered Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Applied Materials Science 200 surplus fluoride filters in drinking water. It is expected that these filters will be issued to households with high water content of fluorine in Binh Dinh.
The residual fluorine filter in domestic water is based on the principle of fluorine treatment with activated aluminum oxide, synthesized by the research team from aluminum salts. This filter is capable of treating residual fluorine in water from 15 mg / liter to 0.5 mg / liter.
Simple operation filter, capable of continuously processing 900 liters of water / month. After one month, users can regenerate the active layer of aluminum oxide by giving direct contact with 0.4 kg of alum and rinse it can be used again.
Fluid filtration equipment is named flowat by the authors of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Material Science Institute. The Copyright Office has granted a certificate of copyright for flowat equipment to the two units mentioned above.
