A Greek climber found a 6,500-year-old gold pendant in a field and handed it over to local officials.

A flat pendant with a size of 3.8 x 3.8 cm is found in Ptolemaida town. It may have a religious meaning and is worn on the neck of a high-ranking member in society. Georgian archaeologist Karamitrou-Mendesidi said that so far only three such creatures have been found during excavations in the area.
