Discover an unusual frog species in Vietnam
ABC News on January 6 reported that an Australian scientist has discovered an unusual species of frog in southern Vietnam and named the vampire flying frog (vampire flying frog).
This frog species is characterized by the use of webbed toes to fly between tree tops. However, this frog species is called a vampire flying frog because its tadpoles have strange black fangs.
Dr. Jodi Rowley, currently working at the Australian Museum, discovered the frog. He said it was the first time to detect tadpoles with canines.
Scientists have yet to explain why these tadpoles have teeth, but think this may be related to their food source.
Dr Rowley said, these frogs reproduce in very small puddles on the trunk of the trunk, so they may eat some kind of strange bait on it.
