Virgin crab is a strange crab species found in our country. This crab is strange in that it is milky white and when boiled it will not be discolored.

Virgin crabs live mainly in arid places, not near streams or rivers. They are in large caves, from 1m - 2m deep, even deep to 3m - 4m. Perhaps the habit of hiding deep in the earth, where light cannot creep in, is the reason why all parts of the virgin are so milky white.

Virgin crabs are omnivores, they eat everything from worms, larvae, crickets, insects to moss. In March and April, the virgin crab crawls out of the cave so it is time to catch the most crabs.

Unlike other crabs, to catch a virgin, you must use the fishing method. Virgin crabs are quite small in size, the largest ones only weigh about 1 tael.
